My Story

I never planned to write a book.

I was simply trying to survive caregiving one day at a time.

Like so many family caregivers, I found myself learning through trial and error. There were endless articles, advice, and opinions, but very little prepared me for the emotional reality of caring for someone I loved.

Some days were exhausting. Some days were heartbreaking. And some days taught me more about strength, patience, and love than I ever thought possible.

As I navigated those challenges, I began writing things down—lessons, observations, and the things I wished someone had told me. What started as personal notes eventually became my first book.

Caregiving changed me. It taught me that the smallest acts of love often require the greatest sacrifices. It also showed me the importance of caring for yourself while caring for someone else.

Today, I write with one purpose: to encourage, support, and remind caregivers that they are never alone.

If you're a caregiver, I hope you find comfort, understanding, and hope within these pages. Most of all, I hope you remember that what you do matters—even on the days when it feels unseen.
